 An early two tone brown saltglaze stoneware hunting jug with reeded neck and stubbed handle with a central scene depicting the kill - a well known saltglaze sprig featuring huntsmen and horses.Good sprigs of trees and a windmill to each side and a hunting scene to lower tier with huntsmen and hounds pursuing a fox.Plated collar. 

Height - 8 1/2ins. 

Date - c181-20.

Condition - Perfect.One area of missing sprig,tree foliage above head of huntsman in central sprig.Ask for more photos if required.

 An extremely rare brown saltglaze stoneware coffee pot with elaborate/ornate decoration to both sides - and also to spout,base,lid and handle.The central panel depicts a mythological creature - probably a griffin.

Height - 11ins. 

Date - c1840.

Condition - Overall good but lid has been restored,handle has old repair and there is a minor chip to spout.
